Hi all!
I'm new to Linux and the only difficulty has been finding a professional level video editor. I'd like to completely sever ties with the "other guys" but have been having to run a VM just for editing. I was happy to find Cinelerra (especially this version) and look forward to trying out it's capabilities. From what I've seen it seems to be the most robust of any others available for Linux (the only other I'd consider using for a project is the full version of DaVinci...but the cost is outrageous).
I look forward to to many happy filmmaking adventures with Cinelerra-GG!
Cheers!

Welcome from me too. Be sure to let us know if you have any questions because I am working on the manual right now and if I hear about any issues that are confusing to users just starting to use Cinelerra-GG, it helps me to know what to add to the manual. Phyllis
