This directory includes builds of Cinelerra 5.1 for various distributions.

The "AppImage" version for all distros, new and older, which as of 2021 will 
now be the latest versions, are in the subdirectory images.

The "single user" compiled tarballs are stored in the subdirectory tars.
To use the single user builds, download the tarball and unpack as indicated:
   cd /path
   mkdir cin
   cd cin
   tar -xJf /src/path/cinelerra-5.1-*.txz    # as shown in ./tars for distro

The multiuser compiled system "packages" are stored in the subdirectory pkgs.
To use the system version for your O/S, refer to instructions in README.pkgs.

32-bit versions include i686 Ubuntu 14.04, Slackware 14.2, and Debian 9.
Do NOT download the 10bit version unless you use h264/h265 (they can't render 8bit).
