All is good. The Word Press Forum is going to be replaced with an alternative in the future . Meanwhile since it had been moved to a new server, I have to approve all added entries by new users (existing users are still automatically approved) and some times I do not get it done for several hours. I did send email with an explanation directly to feden82 (might be in his spam folder though).

@feden82 Moderation times are long but necessary due to constant spam. I was able to reply to you (and only me) because I have certain permissions like Phyllis, even though I'm not a real moderator. I was wrong to reply to you while you were still in moderation, but I didn't realize it. Sorry for the confusion I caused you.

Hi! I’m writing to you because I’m not entirely sure how things work here.

Last Saturday, I posted a topic introducing myself and sharing my first video made in Cinelerra. The moderator removed the link due to adult content and noted that anyone interested could find it by searching on YouTube. Because of that, I edited the post to include the exact title for the search.

All of this happened on Saturday; since then, it has been marked as '' and 'Awaiting moderation.' I think it might have been overlooked, as the new edit hasn't been approved or rejected yet.

I would like you to reconsider it and check if it follows the forum rules. Also, if possible, I would appreciate it if the post could appear among the top topics in the 'WELCOME AREA' once approved so users can see it. If that’s not possible, please let me know.

Something else I noticed and don't quite understand: while the post is awaiting moderation, a user has already commented on it. Does this mean it can still be read even if it hasn't been approved yet? Or are they seeing the version I wrote before the edit?

Those are my questions for now. My apologies for the trouble, but I'm new to the forum and still learning how it works.

Congratulations, great work, both visually and in terms of sound. I really like the “Caravaggio” lighting, with the bodies emerging from the darkness and then returning to it. And then, “Eros and Thanatos” are always interesting to perform.

I'm new to Linux. In October last year (2025), I installed the Xubuntu distribution on my laptop, and I liked it so much that I ended up installing Ubuntu on my desktop computer. Since then, I haven't opened Windows even once (though I have a dual-boot setup).

I am not a programmer but a filmmaker, and I decided to migrate from Adobe software to open-source apps on this system, including Cinelerra-GG.

I have already edited one video on this operating system, but I used Kdenlive at the time because the Cinelerra-GG download site was down.

It was filmed in 2011, but I had discarded it due to image quality issues. Now, I’ve been able to rescue it thanks to the emergence of new technologies.

The video was conceived, assembled, and edited on the GNU/Linux Operating System, Ubuntu distribution. I used the free software Cinelerra-GG and processed underexposure image noise using FFmpeg via the terminal. I also removed some of the reverb from the factory warehouse and improved voice presence using Audacity.

The meaning (and purpose) of the video is to be an artistic, historical, and cultural representation; it is not intended to be explicit.

The directors of the play are Alma Farinelli and Pablo Goldberg.
