I've made a new video on ChinGG, to talk about last year's updates.
There are English subtitles (but how much time and effort to make them!).

Any suggestion and criticism are welcome.

Very nice and useful to accentuate the newer features.  I am glad you mentioned the manual as I think it is a big positive step to have this available with information on all Cinelerra's capabilities.  My only unimportant suggestion would have been to put Sam's name before mine and more prevalent.  Only because Sam and GoodGuy are creators while I am support.

First of all, I don't understand a word, but I noticed your pleasant voice. I'm not your target audience either, so I'll skip to the obvious.

The writing of the titles looks frayed and unclean.
Then something went wrong, at 10:13.933 ff. you can see inverted and therefore almost full green pictures. And what should the fidgeting of the green star represent? Looks like a bug to me.
In most of the instructions I see that the protective areas for tube TVs are switched on? Do you work for analog TV stations like this?

It's a behavior I don't understand. I created only the full shape and simultaneously rotated and resized it and then reverse. It's probably a bug or my bad setting. What came out is a flash between the empty and full form (it only had to be full) and then, when it reached the minimum point it had to be opened and the fill covered the whole frame. Definitely not wanted, but I don't dislike the flashing, so I left it.
And no, I left or removed the safe areas at random for no reason. I'm sorry, I'm not a rational person, and even less precise... 🙂

I don't think you have anything to apologize for. You're a free artist and I don't yet criticize in terms of content but technically. The only thing you may have to be reproached for is the lack of a final check.

If the video reflects the power of CGG then it's a more wonderful involuntary anti-advertising.

You're right. I've been wondering for a long time if they're doing advertising or counter-advertising, so I'm wondering if we should take the channel off.
I'll wait for IgorBeg's videos to come out and then I'll decide.

Am I supposed to be the xxxxxxx now because my criticism actually contains criticism, or was that a joke that escaped me?

How could it go on now? If I were you, I would check if the gimmicks part is a bug or if I put that in - for whatever reason. If it is a bug, I wouldn't do anything. So the video reflects the current state of development. I wouldn't change the titles retroactively in this case either, this tool is an elementary tool and after all the discussions it shouldn't be hidden any longer. Professionals can orientate themselves and the others, who signed that they like the video, won't see anything anyway.

If it is not a bug I would correct what needs to be corrected and upload the video again. Done.

Further possibilities, if it cannot be determined whether it is a bug or not and nothing more is possible with craftsmanship.

a) Do without the disturbing part with a heavy heart, correct the titles if possible. Replace the video on YT. Ask someone to watch the original project to discover the error.

b) Trick and treat (advertising): Switch off the title track and render out as Intermediate Codec. Import into a suitable video editing system, cut out the errors, create new titles and render. Replace video on YT.

And please do not forget, this is a forum, the top directive applies: Whoever asks first has lost!1
