Hi Cinefriends,

I did a little project for the 'Libre Music Challenge' this month and wanted to try out some Akaso cameras I had purchased quite some time ago so I made a Video as well, it was the biggest session I have ever done.

The video is here: https://youtu.be/tt1Cwq6GmBM

Screenshot of the session below:

Thanks Phyllis, appreciate it! I made a 'Bandshed Records' overlay in GIMP for the Video... Plus it's not really the studio this time it's my living room..haha!

How are you doing these days? It's nice to hear from you. 🙂

WOW! @AVLinux

Great! I love this sound!

From a Video Editing point of view: in your screenshot I can see you are using linear Fade (Autos) to dissolve from an edit to an other. At first I thought you had used it with Multi Camera feature and Dissolve tool between two edits.

Hi! Thanks! I always have done dissolves with autos ever since the first time using Cinelerra many years ago. Perhaps it is the 'wrong' way of doing it but it is the feature of Cinelerra I love the most and it is the first thing I miss when I try other NLE's..

@AVlinux
I don't think your way is "wrong",... everyone has its own workflow. However I think your Project will be perfect for the Multi Camera feature.
Have you ever used that tool? Of course at the end you would be forced to use the Dissolve Transition and, maybe, it is no good for you.

Multi-cam with audio sync (the easy way)

Multi Camera editing

Hi, and thanks for those links!

To be honest I was aware that those features were there in name only and had never looked at them in depth and certainly was not aware how sophisticated they were! Great stuff!!
