I'm trying to download the source code but it gives me an error:
$ git clone git://git.cinelerra-gg.org/goodguy/cinelerra.git cinelerra5 Cloning into 'cinelerra5'... fatal: Could not read from remote repository. Please make sure you have the correct access rights and the repository exists.
The gitweb interface at https://git.cinelerra-gg.org/git/?p=goodguy/cinelerra.git;a=summary still works, but I can't really clone from this. Also if possible you should provide the source code over https, plain git protocol is completely unencrypted and anyone eavesdropping on the communication can alter it.
I report it here because on the website both the issue tracker and mailing list link redirects to an error page, and trying to create a new topic under Q&A / Forum & Website just reloads the page (while Video Editing for example seems to work). Also the forum reports the maximum password length is 20, but actually if I give it a 20 character long password it flashes some random german error message, the maximum length of a password is 19 characters.
The server hosting our git is undergoing maintenance, mainly for security updates. We do not know when everything will be back up and running.
