When working in Cin-GG with the Mixers/Multiple Camera shots, you can align the cameras using the Audio waveform. It is quite easy. An example usage is at:

Good that I visited the forum again. I am currently doing a German tutorial about the "Mixer". I thought about how to synchronize the audio files with little effort. Thanks for the solution.
