IMPORTANT Update – CinelerraGG has switched from providing Package or Tar distributions to only AppImage. The latest AppImage release can be found here along with instructions for usage in the file README.appimage.
You can still follow the instructions below to use the Tar version dated October 31, 2020.
Currently site access is not configured. To install cinelerra-gg, download the slackware package build cin_5.1*.txz here. Then use:
installpkg /path/cin_5.1*.txz
To update a previous install:
upgradepkg /path/cin…
Remove it with:
removepkg cin
Slackware 32/64 builds:
For the 32 bit edition of Slackware, look for it here.
Look for a file with the syntax cinelerra-5.1-slk32-14.2-i686-DATE.txz. Extract it and run the binary “cin”.
For the 64bit edition of Slackware, look for it here.
Look for a file with the syntax cinelerra-5.1-slk64-14.2-x86_64-DATE.txz. Extract it and run the binary “cin”.
If you want to build Cinelerra-GG from scratch, a SlackBuild is available on our GIT repository in “blds/cin.SlackBuild”.
